The Member Service Representative will perform a wide range of transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with a high degree of accuracy and in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Provide account information as well as information on the credit union products and services.

General Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and efficient member transactions.
  • Deliver in-person , over-the-phone, and digital communication concerning credit union accounts, services, and products.
  • Respond to members' requests, or direct them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance
  • Perform basic teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and payments.
  • Open new accounts, and service existing accounts. Provide members with all the necessary documentation and information for membership.
  • Promote, explain and cross-sell other credit union products and services such as Home Banking and Mobile Services, Bill Pay, Shared Branching, loans, and other deposit products as appropriate.
  • Represent, promote and support the credit union at various off-site events as needed.
  • Show the ability to manage multiple platforms and systems

Qualifications:

  • Previous banking/finance experience preferred
  • Familiarity with BSA procedures
  • Ability to build rapport with members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position requires extensive professional telephone and written contact with our membership
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Cash handling: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Banking: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person 5 days/wk, SeaTac

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
