District Partners is supporting a mission-driven organization in identifying a Financial Systems Administrator to lead the management and optimization of its enterprise financial platforms. This team plays a critical role in advancing technology that enables operational excellence, security, and accountability across the organization.

The Financial Systems Administrator will serve as the primary owner of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring the platform operates securely, efficiently, and in alignment with business and financial objectives. This role bridges Finance and IT, leading system enhancements, integrations, and user support to ensure the organization's financial infrastructure continues to evolve with its needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity.
  • Manage system security, user permissions, and documentation to maintain compliance and audit readiness.
  • Partner with Finance and IT teams to enhance integration across Business Central, JET Reporting, and Workday Adaptive.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of Business Central projects, from requirements gathering and planning to implementation and ongoing improvement.
  • Collaborate with vendors to test, deploy, and support new features and system updates.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address inefficiencies and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and reporting standards.
  • Support audit activities with system documentation and financial data reporting.
  • Provide backup support for Salesforce-integrated workflows, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.

What You'll Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of six years of experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV/Navision.
  • Strong understanding of system configuration, customization, and user security.
  • Experience with JET Reporting, Workday Adaptive, and/or Sylogist Mission (Serenic Navigator).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
  • Proven success managing ERP projects through full implementation cycles.
  • Skilled with cloud-based ERP platforms and system integration tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and training skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business users.

Location:
Washington, DC (Hybrid – two days onsite, Metro accessible)

Salary:
$140,000–$160,000, offering flexibility based on experience and overall fit
