Duties

  • Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity.
  • Apply and maintain enhancements such as acrylics, gel extensions, and nail wraps to meet client preferences.
  • Provide additional beauty treatments like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments to enhance overall client satisfaction.
  • Educate clients on nail care routines, color theory for custom polish designs, and proper sanitation practices to ensure safe and hygienic services.
  • Assist clients with product selection by upselling retail items such as nail polishes, skincare products, or hair extensions to boost sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
  • Stay current with the latest trends in nail art, color techniques, and beauty treatments through ongoing education.
  • Manage retail sales efficiently using retail math skills to meet sales goals while providing excellent customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication skills, understanding their needs and preferences for personalized service.

Qualifications

  • Certification in Cosmetology or Nail Technology from an accredited program is required; additional licenses may be necessary depending on local regulations.
  • Proven experience in nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel application, acrylics, and nail art.
  • Knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing designs tailored to client preferences.
  • Familiarity with sanitation standards and best practices to maintain a hygienic workspace.
  • Experience with advanced beauty treatments including eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, hair styling, hair extensions, barbering techniques, and hair threading is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients.
  • Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a positive client experience.
  • Retail sales experience combined with retail math skills to achieve sales targets efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to educate clients about services and product options clearly and professionally.
