School Security Officer- Armed

Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures, and contacting local law enforcement when necessary.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Must posses a Security Officer License Class D and G
- Must not have been convicted of a felony
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be physically able to patrol on foot during a shift.
- Willing to work eight (8) hour shifts
- No offensive Tattoos. No face, neck, or hand Tattoos
- No smoking or vape on duty or property
Experience
- Preferably 2 years security experience.
- Preferably former law enforcement or military training
- Preferably current Florida School Guardian certified
Skills
- Must be able to interact with clients and patron on a daily basis
- Must be able to work in a team environment
