Job Summary:

We are seeking passionate and dedicated K-12 Tutors to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Online Tutor, you will remotely work with students in a one-on-one or small group setting to provide personalized academic support. This role involves reinforcing classroom instruction, assisting with homework, and helping students overcome specific academic challenges to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized tutoring sessions tailored to the specific needs of each student.
  • Assist students with understanding course material, completing homework assignments, and preparing for exams.
  • Identify and address gaps in knowledge and skills, offering targeted instruction to bridge those gaps.
  • Maintain regular communication with students and parents to discuss progress and areas of concern.
  • Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters academic confidence and growth.
  • Use online tools and resources effectively to enhance the tutoring experience.
  • Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to improve tutoring strategies and techniques.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required)
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching, especially in an online environment
  • Strong knowledge of subject matter and ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way
  • Proficiency in using online platforms and tools with a modern computer and reliable internet connection
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals
