Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and mechanical systems, with the ability to operate a range of tools and machinery to ensure high-quality welds and structural integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials according to blueprints and schematics
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions
  • Operate power tools, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment
  • Use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances
  • Conduct machining operations as needed for component fitting and finishing
  • Assist with assembly of metal structures or components in accordance with project specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
  • Perform quality checks on welded joints and finished products to meet industry standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and fabrication processes
  • Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing, construction, or ductwork projects
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, crane operation (nice-to-have), forklift operation (nice-to-have), and machining equipment
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
  • Strong understanding of safety standards related to welding and manufacturing environments
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
