A design-build and systems integration firm is seeking a Sr. Procurement Manager to join their team out of their Baltimore, MD location.

Role: Sr. Procurement Manager

Location: Baltimore, MD - fully on-site, no hybrid accommodations.

Job Description:

  • Act as liaison between Procurement and internal teams (Execs, Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing).
  • Lead procurement planning during bidding and execution phases.
  • Develop and manage Procurement Plans, RFPs/RFQs, and vendor prequalification.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Track quotes, analyze bids, and maintain a Quotes Matrix.
  • Ensure timely procurement-goal: 80% of orders placed by 20% project completion.
  • Monitor deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and close out procurement packages.
  • Incorporate market intelligence (pricing, lead times, alternatives) into planning.
  • Support long-term agreements and category consolidation.

Requirements:

  • Procurement experience do you have within power distribution equipment, conduit, wire, connectors, hardware, steel, copper, devices, video monitoring, intrusion detection, access control, audio visual.
  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
  • Relevant purchasing experience sourcing, negotiating contracts with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), construction /specialty trade subcontractors and fabricators
