Estimated 40 hours per week, with increased hours during key holiday weeks (Black Friday / Cyber Monday).

Rate: $30/hr

100% remote or in office in ATL if you want to work onsite. EST or CST applicants only

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Paid Media Contractor to help drive our paid media efforts during the high-volume Q4 / Holiday period. This contractor will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of creative strategy and campaign execution across our paid search and paid social channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives, brand standards, and performance goals.

They work with a marketing agency; you will be expected to manage that relationship. The agency are actively managing campaigns so it's not a hands on keyboard role. Would love agency experience. The paid programs are sophisticated

  • Creative Strategy & Development
  • Own the end-to-end creative process for paid social and paid search campaigns.
  • Partner with the creative team to develop assets optimized for each platform (Meta, Google, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Maintain consistency with brand tone, voice, and visual identity while driving performance-driven experimentation.
  • Build and maintain a creative testing roadmap, defining hypotheses, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Campaign Management & Agency Oversight
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of paid media campaigns managed by our digital agency partner.
  • Ensure campaigns are aligned to strategic objectives, brand guidelines, and budget pacing plans.
  • Review media plans, targeting strategies, and creative recommendations for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Provide feedback and approvals on campaign set-up, creative, and reporting deliverables.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor daily and weekly campaign performance across platforms, identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Analyze creative performance (CTR, CVR, ROAS, CAC, etc.) to surface actionable insights and creative learnings.
  • Develop and deliver performance reports and holiday recap decks, highlighting insights, trends, and recommendations for future planning.
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and budget management.

Deliverables

  • On-time delivery of creative briefs and asset launches.
  • Smooth campaign execution with no major delivery or pacing issues.
  • Daily monitoring of performance with timely escalation of any declines or emerging opportunities.
  • Prompt troubleshooting and resolution of campaign issues or implementation of necessary updates with a strong sense of urgency.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in paid social and/or paid search management, ideally in an agency or eCommerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of creative strategy, A/B testing, and platform best practices.
  • Proven track record collaborating with agencies and creative teams.
  • Deep analytical capability with tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Shopify.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize performance insights into clear narratives.
  • Experience managing high-volume campaigns during peak retail periods (e.g., Q4 holiday).
