The Strategy Advancement Advisor provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments or the company at large. The Strategy Advancement Advisor works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Where you Come In
The Strategy Advancement Advisor leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems and operations using data from internal and external sources. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis. The Advisor collaborates with subject matter experts across provider, operational, and compliance teams to interpret analytics and generate actionable recommendations and plans for utilization review processes. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function. Advise executives to develop functional strategies across PPNO (Provider Process and Network Organization) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Key Role Objectives/Responsibilities:
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to identify and communicate enterprise-wide strategic themes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and effectively influencing decision-making at all levels
- Support the Transformation Office in facilitating continuous prioritization across the organization by collaborating with key stakeholders, aligning technology investments to enterprise strategy, and ensuring effective execution of prioritization milestones as outlined in the Lean Portfolio Management framework.
- Support in development and management of operational and financial KPIs
- Facilitate leadership team meetings and business reviews to ensure effective utilization of time, quality decision making and focus on the most important topics.
- Ensure follow-up actions are documented, and people are held accountable for those action items
- Assist with ad hoc and confidential projects. Must be able to handle confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion
- Assess current operational infrastructure (meeting cadence, content, etc.) and create recommendations to most effectively sustain and/or optimize
- Serve as a team representative, attending meetings senior leader(s) cannot attend to represent perspective, identifying opportunities and drive follow-up as needed

Required Qualifications – What it takes to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 4 years managing organizational roadmap to monitor progress against initiatives, including scorecards
- Minimum of 4 years experience with KPI/Metric reporting for executive leadership
- Minimum of 3 years of formal project management experience with large size initiatives
- Proven experience creating and delivering executive level decks
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and coordinate the execution of cross-cutting, strategic workforce and operational initiatives
- Proven experience in planning and facilitating operational strategy development meetings
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- PMP Certification

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$115,200 - $158,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
