Position Overview:

Vaden Automotive Group is seeking a Merchandising Manager who will ensure all dealership inventory is properly merchandised, retail-ready, and presented to the highest standards. This position plays a vital role in training dealership photographers, maintaining consistency across all Vaden locations, and supporting dealership operations through effective merchandising and lot organization. Communication with the fixed operations and the sales department is necessary for this role. An ideal candidate will have experience in an automotive dealership in the sales/service departments as well as experience with Microsoft Excel.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance working independently with on-site dealership support while fostering a professional, efficient, and multi-brand-consistent presentation of inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all dealership inventory is accurately and attractively merchandised in a timely manner and ready for retail display.
• Train, mentor, and oversee dealership photographers to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met.
• Manage timekeeping and scheduling for dealership photographers.
• Conduct weekly merchandising reviews with dealerships, selecting at least one dealership per week for in-depth analysis.
• Support dealership teams with merchandising materials, lot organization, and promotional displays.
• Maintain vehicle keys, addendums, and ensure all display areas are clean, organized, and safe.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to enhance online listings, vehicle photos, and presentation consistency.
• Perform data entry tasks related to inventory, vehicle tracking, and merchandising schedules.
• Follow safety procedures and assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional dealership environment.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous automotive dealership experience required.
• Merchandising or lot management experience required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings.

Physical Requirements:

• Moving about the dealership in all areas.
• Using a computer to look up and input information.
• Standing for 6–8 hours per shift.
• Using industry compliant devices.
• Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching, and climbing as needed.
• Utilizing physical and manual dexterity.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
