Job Summary: 

The Program Management Director – HR Strategic Initiatives will play a pivotal role in driving the design, execution, and governance of enterprise-wide HR programs and transformation efforts that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience. This individual will work closely with HR leadership, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and business partners to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.
This is an ideal role for a results-oriented professional with strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and change enablement skills—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and is motivated to advance HR's strategic priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Program & Project Management
    • Lead and support the planning, coordination, and execution of HR strategic initiatives and transformation projects that align with business goals.
    • Translate enterprise strategy into structured, actionable programs with clear goals, timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
    • Ensure accountability and progress tracking across HR COEs, maintaining alignment with enterprise objectives.
    • Anticipate interdependencies, manage risks, and proactively address bottlenecks or escalations.
  • Change Management & Communication
    • Develop and execute change management and communication plans that drive adoption and consistency across the organization.
    • Partner with stakeholders to assess readiness, craft messaging, and support training or rollout activities.
    • Deliver clear, engaging communications and executive updates that articulate objectives, progress, and outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, HR Operations) and HR Business Partners to maintain an integrated HR roadmap that supports organizational priorities.
    • Work closely with business leaders to incorporate organizational needs into program design and ensure consistent yet flexible implementation across business units.
    • Facilitate collaboration and transparency across teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Data, Reporting & Insights
    • Establish and maintain frameworks for tracking program outcomes, milestones, and adoption metrics.
    • Provide HR leadership and the Chief People Officer with data-driven updates on initiative progress and impact.
    • Use workforce analytics and stakeholder feedback to refine strategies and improve execution.
  • Process Improvement & Efficiency
    • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and the overall employee experience.
    • Support continuous improvement through documentation of best practices and lessons learned.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5–7+ years of progressive experience in HR, project management, or change management roles, ideally within HR or People Operations.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams, including India-based colleagues, preferred.
  • Proven success managing enterprise-level or cross-functional HR initiatives and transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of HR functional areas and how they interconnect to drive organizational impact.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using project tracking tools and data dashboards (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, ).
  • Experience supporting change management initiatives (Prosci certification or similar a plus).

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is $108,000 to $135,000.
