Position Overview

The Associate will play a key role in supporting the firm's financing, liquidity, and portfolio management activities. This is a high-visibility role that interacts across investment, finance, and operations teams in a dynamic private credit platform.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of fund-level credit facilities, including subscription lines and asset-backed structures, through tasks such as borrowing base updates, reporting deliverables, and scenario/stress testing.
  • Contribute to platform-wide liquidity oversight, ensuring cash resources are aligned with investment activity and liability obligations.
  • Maintain and leverage internal data systems to produce analysis that informs investment professionals and senior leadership.
  • Act as a liaison with financing counterparties, coordinating information requests and facilitating portfolio reviews.
  • Partner with the investment team on monitoring both new and existing positions, including the review of performance drivers, pipeline opportunities, and amendments or other material developments.
  • Assist in allocating investments across vehicles with attention to portfolio construction factors such as exposure limits, sector diversification, facility capacity, and financing efficiency.
  • Track and implement terms of credit agreements, staying current on pricing, covenants, and structural features that affect liability management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of professional experience in private credit, structured finance, asset-backed securities, or another buy-side environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills, particularly in evaluating loan performance and optimizing outcomes within financing facilities.
  • Hands-on experience monitoring loan portfolios, including performance tracking and covenant compliance.
  • Familiarity with subscription and asset-backed facility documentation, including onboarding, amendments, and ongoing covenant review.
