Position Title: Network Architect

Location: Washington, DC (Locals only)

Duration: 12 months plus with possible extension

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Network Architect with hands-on expertise in IP overlap conflict resolution between MB and AB networks and federated network configuration using Fortinet and Cisco technologies. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize complex network architectures to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable connectivity across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement network solutions to resolve IP overlap conflicts between MB and AB networks.
  • Configure and manage federated network architectures using Fortinet and Cisco platforms.
  • Optimize network performance, reliability, and security across hybrid and multi-site infrastructures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues related to routing, VPNs, and firewalls.

Main Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in IP overlap conflict resolution between MB and AB network and federated network configuration using Fortinet and Cisco.
  • Strong experience with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager) and Cisco (ASA, Firepower, routers, switches).
  • Expertise in IP addressing, routing, NAT, and subnetting for conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of federated networks, VPN, and network segmentation.
  • Solid understanding of network security and firewall policies.
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud network environments is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or CCIE) preferred.
