Entry-Level Bookkeeper

Are you someone who is detail oriented and loves finance? We are looking for a bookkeeper with 2-3 years of accounting experience and strong critical thinking skills to join our team and fast-growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions accurately and efficiently

  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly

  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts

  • Maintain client and vendor records in accounting software

  • Prepare basic financial reports (profit/loss, balance sheet, etc.)

  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts

  • Produce and submit sales and use tax filings

  • Update client progress and task status in Monday (CRM system)

  • Track time spent on each client in Clockify for accurate billing and productivity

reporting

  • Assist with year-end and tax preparation tasks as needed

  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial and client data

  • Support the accounting team with additional projects or reporting as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (public or private

sector)

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) and Microsoft Excel

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and journal entries

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 38 per week
