About the Role

Edison Smart are proudly supporting a leader in the Building Automation industry in their search for a BAS Field Supervisor based in Atlanta, GA.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-level or senior BAS technician who's looking to take the next step in their career into a supervisory and leadership-focused role. The position will be responsible for overseeing field teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction across a range of commercial and industrial automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of BAS field technicians across multiple ongoing projects.
  • Oversee the installation, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BAS systems (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Distech, Schneider, etc.).
  • Act as the technical lead and point of escalation for complex field issues.
  • Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to company and client standards.
  • Coordinate technician scheduling, resource allocation, and project timelines.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality assurance checks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Mentor and develop junior technicians, supporting their ongoing training and growth.
  • Drive process improvement and operational excellence within the field team.

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years' experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) or HVAC Controls
  • Strong technical foundation as a Senior or Lead BAS Technician, with hands-on field experience.
  • Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in one or more major BAS platforms (e.g., Niagara, Metasys, Desigo, Ecostruxure, Distech, Alerton, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor others effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally across Atlanta.
