Day To Day:

An employer is seeking a QA Engineer for a large financial company sitting in Charlotte, NC. We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in TypeScript-based test automation, and a passion for building robust, scalable testing frameworks using Playwright and Cucumber. You'll work closely with developers and product managers to ensure our applications are reliable, performant, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and Cucumber in TypeScript
  • Collaborate with developers to define test strategies and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Perform front-end and back-end testing of Salesforce
  • Write and execute end-to-end, integration, and regression tests for web applications
  • Identify, document, and track bugs; assist in root cause analysis and resolution
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Continuously improve test coverage, performance, and reliability of automation frameworks

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in QA automation or software testing
  • Proficiency in
