The Teaching Assistant - Temporary Role

Our Teaching Assistant role is a perfect opportunity to give talented individuals practice and experience teaching and working with kids.

  • They will support with schoolwide systems and routines like arrival, meal times, recess, and dismissal.
  • They will work in collaboration with and under the guidance of experienced Lead Teachers.
  • This role is temporary through the end of the school year. Successful Teaching Assistants will be considered for other roles for the next school year.
  • Teaching Assistants may also act as substitutes throughout the building as needed.
  • The content and age range of students they work with will depend on the needs of the school.

This role is a temporary role for the school year. Successful teaching assistants will be considered for permenant roles.

This is an academic year position. School hours are 8:20-4:00 for staff.

Compensation: Salary for this role is $40,000. Multilingual candidates are compensated higher.
