Job Title: Assistant Arcade Manager

Reports To: Arcade Manager / General Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant Arcade Manager supports the daily operations of the arcade, ensuring exceptional guest experience, smooth game and equipment functionality, and efficient team performance. This role involves supervising staff, managing cash handling and inventory, monitoring arcade machines, and assisting with marketing and events. The Assistant Manager serves as a key leader when the Arcade Manager is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Customer Service

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the arcade, ensuring all games and attractions run smoothly.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service—responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a fun, safe environment.
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reconciliation.
  • Monitor cleanliness, safety, and presentation of the arcade floor.

Staff Supervision & Training

  • Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising arcade attendants and technicians.
  • Motivate staff to achieve service and sales goals.
  • Conduct performance feedback and help develop team members.

Technical & Maintenance Support

  • Ensure regular inspection and maintenance of arcade machines, ticket counters, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Coordinate with technicians or vendors for repairs and replacements.
  • Keep logs of maintenance issues and resolutions.

Financial & Administrative Tasks

  • Manage cash drawers, deposit, and change orders.
  • Monitor inventory for prizes, tokens, and supplies, reorder as necessary.
  • Support the manager with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.

Marketing & Events

  • Assist in promoting arcade events, tournaments, and group bookings.
  • Support social media and in-store marketing initiatives.
  • Help organize parties, special promotions, and community outreach programs.

Looking for opening availability, on call, and weekends.

Starting pay is $14.00 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
