Junior SEM Specialist

The Junior SEM Specialist will plan, implement, and assist in managing our paid campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads or other relevant paid media platforms. This role is pivotal in driving online visibility, customer acquisition, and ROI for our builder partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, an understanding of SEM platforms, and be proactive and driven in growing their skillset alongside client campaigns.
Campaign Management
- Develop, execute, and optimize paid campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads to meet client objectives.
- Conduct keyword research, selection, and optimization to ensure effective targeting.
- Create and test ad copy and other assets to improve CTR and conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven optimizations to maximize ROI.
- Manage and allocate budgets effectively, ensuring maximum efficiency and results.
- Recommend new budget allocations or campaign budgets to increase advertising capabilities.
Reporting & Analytics
- Utilize Google Analytics and other tools to track, report, and analyze website and campaign performance.
- Generate regular performance reports for all stakeholders, highlighting key insights and strategic recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEM and analytics.
Training & Support
- Continue to improve personal skillset through training and certifications offered by Google and Microsoft.
- Stay up-to-date on digital advertising trends and share best practice changes with the greater Digital Team.
- Prepare information or presentations to showcase knowledge gains, transfer new ideas, or educate team members from other departments.
- Work with Senior SEM team members to build strategic thought & planning skillset.
- Ensure strong cross-team communication, especially with Account Services, to build on or enhance all marketing efforts for any given client.
Experience & Requirements
- 1-2 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in SEM.
- Familiarity with Google Ads and overall search engine functionality.
- Experience with Google Ads Editor, Microsoft Advertising Editor, and other bulk management tools for efficient campaign optimization and implementation.
- Strong Excel/Sheets skills for analyzing campaign data, building reports, and performing keyword or performance audits.
- Basic understanding of website conversion tracking implementation, including familiarity with Google Tag Manager, UTM parameters, and conversion pixels.

Pay: $45, $55,000.00 per year
