Schedule: Approximately 2–3 days per week (flexible) with opportunities to grow to 4-5 days per week.

About Prosper Therapy

Prosper Therapy is a multidisciplinary clinic offering Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Speech Therapy (ST). We are expanding our clinical services to include mental health and family services. We seek a compassionate, experienced clinician to join our team and provide play therapy and family counseling in a collaborative, client-centered environment.

Position Summary

We are looking for a licensed mental health clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) with training or experience in play therapy, child therapy, and family systems work. This clinician will see children, adolescents, and their families for therapy sessions, provide assessments and treatment planning, and collaborate with our OT/PT/ST staff when appropriate. The clinician should be comfortable delivering services in a pediatric/child-family oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and play therapy sessions for children, adolescents, and their caregivers
  • Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Collaborate with OT, PT, and ST therapists as needed for integrative care
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and interdisciplinary planning
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation (e.g. SOAP notes, treatment plans)
  • Stay current with evidence-based practices and professional development in play therapy, child/adolescent mental health, and family therapy
  • Adhere to ethical and regulatory (state, licensure, HIPAA) requirements
  • Occasionally provide consultation or training to staff or caregivers related to behavioral/therapeutic strategies

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in social work, counseling, marriage & family therapy, clinical psychology, or related field
  • Licensed in Georgia as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent (or eligible for licensure)
  • Training or certification in play therapy (e.g. registered play therapist, or credentialed through APT)
  • Prior experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families
  • Strong skills in child development, family systems, behavioral interventions, and therapeutic relationship building
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Commitment to continuing education in play therapy and family counseling modalities

Schedule & Hours

  • Approx. 2–3 days per week (negotiable)
  • Clinical slots may include some mornings, afternoons, early evenings, after school hours, depending on client demand
  • Expectation to see 12–18 clinical hours per week (flexible)
  • Some administrative time built in (e.g. for documentation, meetings)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $46.63 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 32 per week
