The Role

The Sr. Director of Finance will serve as the financial backbone of the organization, driving strategy, structure, and insight across all areas of the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will build and scale financial systems, processes, and reporting frameworks to support rapid expansion and long-term sustainability.

You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations, turning data into actionable strategy — helping the company move confidently from $5M to $25M+ in annual revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities
  • Build scalable systems and processes that ensure financial discipline during growth
  • Partner with leadership on pricing, investment, and margin optimization decisions
  • Oversee accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and financial models to guide decision-making
  • Support CEO and board with fundraising materials and investor readiness

What You'll Bring

  • 12–15 years of progressive finance experience, ideally within
    consumer packaged goods (CPG)
    or another product-based growth industry
  • 5–8 years in finance leadership (FP&A, reporting, strategic planning)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial modeling, and cash flow management
  • Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems and tools
  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategy and execution
  • Collaborative, low-ego leadership style and excellent communication skills
