Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse has been serving legendary Texas barbecue for many years in the Dallas area. We are looking for an ambitious and qualified General Manager to work in Dallas.

About the job:

  • General Managers are responsible for all daily operations and staff in the restaurant.
  • They must ensure fast, accurate and friendly service and make sure food quality is always consistent with Sonny Bryan's standards.
  • A qualified candidate will be able to exercise good leadership practices in managing, motivating and training staff, resulting in employee job satisfaction.
  • Managers are responsible for maintaining food, beverage and supply inventory, and must have skills to handle cash control and profit and loss management.
  • Safety and security is a top priority at Sonny Bryan's and managers must have knowledge of and comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as laws and legislative guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least two recent consecutive years of F&B general management experience.
  • They must be dedicated to exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, which requires strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Managers must have outgoing personalities with good leadership, conflict resolution, and team building skills.
  • Qualified candidates will have strong analytical and decision making skills, basic math, accounting and computer skills. P&L experience preferred.
  • They must be flexible and be able to work nights and weekends.
  • The right candidate must be a play maker with strong professional references.
  • Must have current TABC and Food Safety Manager Certification.
