We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner to provide specialty care services in Pulmonology and Respiratory to our patients under the direction of a physician. The Nurse Practitioner must be highly capable of diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses, and will be responsible for ordering lab tests and medical screenings to ensure the best possible care for our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who wish to utilize their knowledge and experience in one of the most respected medical environments in the area. We also offer CME's up to $2500.
Responsibilities:
- Execute clinical duties as directed by supervisor and manage clinical staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other medical personnel such as physicians, nurse specialists and other health care providers; Manage case load.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of support staff.
- Perform an admission assessment on all new patients, which includes reviewing history portion of the electronic medical record, obtaining vital signs, and conducting a review of systems.
- Perform physical exams on all new patients, which includes taking history related to chief complaint; reviewing systems ordering appropriate diagnostic tests; prescribing or referring for therapy or medications; providing discharge instructions to patient or referring the patient for follow-up with another provider.

Pay: $110, $135,000.00 per year
