Job Summary:

The Presales Solution Engineer serves as a critical technical resource in driving LMKR's IT services sales strategy. The role focuses on understanding client requirements, designing innovative solutions, and ensuring seamless alignment between customer needs and LMKR's delivery capabilities. The incumbent will work closely with the regional business development team and technical experts to design and present tailored technology solutions across diverse domains, including software development, cloud consulting, and enterprise system integration.

Job Description:

The Presales Solution Engineer will collaborate with sales, delivery, and technical teams to architect customer-centric solutions that address complex business challenges. The role involves active client engagement, preparation of technical documentation, and participation in proposal development to support business growth and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients (virtually and on-site) to gather and assess technical and business requirements.
  • Design comprehensive solution architectures and develop detailed technical proposals aligned with client needs.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to highlight LMKR's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery and engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with company capabilities.
  • Develop and contribute to RFP and RFQ responses, including technical content, cost estimations, and implementation timelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise on LMKR's solution portfolio, including software development, cloud platforms, and enterprise technologies.
  • Ensure that all proposed solutions emphasize technical excellence, scalability, and competitive differentiation.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical presales, solution engineering, or customer-facing roles within technology or consulting firms.
  • Proven track record of working in software development and cloud consulting environments.
  • Experience in designing solutions for enterprise-scale or large system integration projects.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in modern technology stacks such as
    .NET, Angular, , and React
    .
  • Expertise in
    Microservices, SOA, and Cloud Architectures
    (hybrid, multi-cloud, and cloud-native).
  • Hands-on knowledge of
    containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, and API-first system design
    .
  • Understanding of distributed, event-driven, and message-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with hardware/software integration and enterprise-level systems.
  • Excellent proposal writing, technical documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and on-site engagements.

Education/Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master's degree preferred).
