Business Development Analyst $40.29-$42.74

The Business Development Analyst is responsible for assisting with the identification, development, and proposal submission for new business opportunities for Kings View. This includes evaluating the legislative landscape federally, statewide, and locally for business development opportunities aligned with the mission and vision of Kings View. The Business Development Analyst may also be responsible for developing relationships with funders and stakeholders and identifying key funding opportunities.

How will I contribute

• Provide consultation on legislative initiatives, funding opportunities, and development of key stakeholder relationships with government entities, community-based organizations, philanthropic organizations, and private entities.
• Create comprehensive analytical report on new business development opportunities, including revenue source, delivery timeline, sustainability, and feasibility.
• Draft proposal in alignment with the business development team and collaborate with germane departments and units throughout Kings View ensuring collaboration and comprehensiveness.
• Request, receive, and assist with access to training modules by funders or third-party sources to support agency-wide understanding of the scope of work, funding, and reporting requirements.
• • Provide technical assistance and training to corporate and program staff for early implementation objectives and operational challenges.
• Research and develop eligibility criteria, program descriptions, scope of work and services, policies and procedures, compliance, funding application completion (e.g., RFP, RFA, RFI, evergreen contracts, grants, etc), and related documents.
• Continuously track, prioritize, and forecast upcoming grants, contracts, and opportunities, including timelines, projected revenue, and fit with organizational strategy.
• Use internal program data, performance metrics, and community need indicators to design competitive, evidence-based proposals.
• Track deliverables, report deadlines, fiscal requirements, and quality metrics; collaborate with Finance/Compliance/Programs to ensure smooth execution.
• Attend webinars, training, meetings as necessary and/or request additional information necessary to write, design, and develop new program.
• Learn and utilize software and other digital access points for necessary to effectively address planned or executed agreements.
• Prepare meetings, agendas, meeting minutes for meetings as assigned.
• Provide comprehensive updates to Kings View regarding the progress, issues, developments with funders.
• Project Management for current funding engagements and ensuring compliant completion and timely execution
• Assist in the research and development of funding opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning and success of the program.
• Use of company vehicles may be subject to monitoring via in-vehicle dashcam systems for safety, compliance, and operational purposes. These systems may collect video, audio (in limited situations), and telematics data during vehicle use. As a condition of employment in a position requiring the operation of agency vehicles, employees are required to acknowledge and consent to the use of such monitoring technologies. Refusal to provide consent may disqualify an individual from being assigned driving responsibilities. All monitoring is conducted in compliance with applicable California privacy laws.

What I bring

• Associate degree.
• Class C Driving License.
• 5 years' experience in program development and new program contracts and startups; including RFP development operational planning and coordination; or 7 years of directly related experience in lieu of degree.
• High expectation for accuracy and meeting timelines.
• Knowledge of client billing and mental health, drug and alcohol state requirements.
• Ability to train program staff. Ability to analyze client operating problems and implement solutions.
• High expectation for accuracy and meeting timelines.
• Grant writing experience and related training and certification strongly preferred.
