Job Summary

6ixty Wings San Antonio is seeking a dynamic Front of House Lead to oversee daily operations in our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of food service and hospitality standards. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring smooth service flow, maintaining food safety protocols, and creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. The Front of House Manager will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to excellence and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders
  • Oversee food preparation and serving processes to ensure quality standards are met
  • Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations in all customer interactions
  • Conduct interviewing and hiring of new team members, providing training on food handling, customer service, and restaurant policies
  • Monitor restaurant operations to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
  • Assist with food industry-specific tasks such as supervising food presentation, ensuring proper serving techniques, and managing kitchen coordination when necessary
  • Lead team management efforts by motivating staff, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant management industry
  • Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, serving, and hospitality environments
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cash handling and order management
  • Prior restaurant management experience is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience with interviewing potential staff members and conducting training sessions
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations in the hospitality industry
  • Additional experience in hotel or barista roles is considered a plus but not required
