Inspire Kids Early Learning Center (IKELC) is a licensed, community-based childcare and early learning program serving infants through preschoolers in Tukwila.

Position Summary
The Early Childhood Center Coordinator supports the Director in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with DCYF and WAC standards, and maintaining a high-quality early learning environment.
This role combines leadership, family engagement, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, caring, and passionate about supporting teachers and families.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day center operations and staff coordination
- Ensure compliance with DCYF licensing, health, and safety regulations
- Provide coaching and support to teachers in curriculum and classroom management
- Assist with enrollment, family communication, and scheduling
- Maintain accurate attendance and compliance records
- Help plan staff meetings, professional development, and family engagement events
- Step into classrooms as needed to maintain staff-to-child ratios
- Support Director in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring new staff
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or coordination experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of WAC and DCYF standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Current or ability to obtain: First Aid/CPR, Food Handler's Permit, Safe Sleep, and Bloodborne Pathogens training
- CDA or ECE Certificate preferred
