Junior Buyer

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Junior Buyer & Accounts Payable Specialist to support both our procurement and finance functions. This dual-role position is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in supply chain and accounting, gaining hands-on experience in vendor sourcing, purchasing operations, and accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities:

Purchasing / Buyer

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations
• Create, review, and manage purchase orders in the ERP system
• Monitor order status and follow up to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and priorities
• Maintain and update supplier information while fostering strong vendor relationships
• Monitor inventory levels and support the Sales team with inquiries
• Perform other office duties as assigned

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Ensure timely vendor payments according to company policies and payment terms
• Reconcile AP transactions and assist with month-end closing activities
• Handle vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies promptly
• Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation

Qualifications:

• Background in Accounting is required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or a buyer role
• Experience with ERP systems is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams
• Fast learner with a proactive, self-driven work attitude
• Positive, team-oriented mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $54,000.00 per year
