The Opportunity

Join us as an AI Research Engineer, where you'll tackle the cutting-edge challenge of deploying state-of-the-art AI models directly onto mobile devices using Cactus, an innovative cross-platform open-source framework. Your work will directly impact industry-leading clients by enabling them to run AI models locally on smartphones, revolutionizing mobile app capabilities. You'll be at the forefront of integrating advanced AI techniques with mobile technology, working in a dynamic and flexible remote environment.

What You'll Bring

  • A Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Physics, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong expertise in Python and deep knowledge of PyTorch/JAX internals.

  • Proven experience with deep learning and state-of-the-art models, including large language models (LLMs), vision-language models (VLMs), and text-to-speech (TTS) systems.

  • Exceptional professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Basic client interaction capabilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with model companies to integrate their models into Cactus.
