Operations & HR Intern (Hospitality Focus)

Part-Time | $10/hr | 15–20 hrs/week | Houston, TX

Anchor Admin Group is a restaurant operations and administrative support group that helps independently owned restaurants stay compliant, organized, and scalable. We work behind the scenes to keep hospitality businesses running smoothly — from HR to training, to inventory and communication systems.

We're currently looking for a part-time intern who's passionate about learning the business side of hospitality and wants to gain real-world experience in human resources, operations, and high-level communication.

What You'll Learn:

  • How to manage HR documentation, staff onboarding, and progressive discipline procedures
  • How restaurant scheduling, payroll, and compliance systems work
  • What it takes to manage vendor relationships, daily reporting, and internal communication
  • How to create professional documents, systems, and SOPs for a growing business
  • Real-time decision making in a fast-paced, multi-location restaurant group
  • How to open a new restaurant concept including build out, inspections and contract negotiations

What We're Looking For:

  • A curious, detail-oriented person who wants to grow in hospitality operations, HR, or business admin
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail)
  • A good attitude, flexible schedule, and a willingness to jump in and try new things
  • No previous restaurant experience required, but it's a plus

Position Details:

  • Part-time: 15–20 hours per week
  • Location: Primarily in Houston (some remote flexibility depending on project)
  • Pay: $10/hour

You'll be working directly under the Founder of Anchor Admin Group, gaining one-on-one mentorship and exposure to every layer of the business. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their resume and break into the world of restaurant operations or human resources.
