Environ-Civil Engineering, Ltd. currently seeking an Entry to Mid-level Civil/Environmental Engineer with 1+ years of experience in water resource engineering to join our Richmond, VA team. Experience in Hydraulic Modeling and Pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Participate in planning, evaluation, design, permitting, and construction support services in the areas of water, wastewater, stormwater, and stream stabilization.
  • Serve as site engineer and on medium to large scale engineering projects.
  • Perform tasks in water/wastewater process, planning, modeling, and design.
  • Develop and review design drawings.
  • Prepare technical reports, plans, and memorandum.
  • Travel to project sites and office.

Skills:

  • Experience in water distribution and sanitary collection system design.
  • Experience in stream restoration design.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and the ability to multi-task.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite (including Access and Excel), basic formulas, pivot tables and charts, formatting, and page layouts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a closely related engineering discipline).
  • 1+ years of experience in water resource engineering.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability/experience needed to perform responsibilities noted within this solicitation, including computer skills, understanding of construction documents, technical writing, and communication skills.
