*Duties:*

  • Assist the cook in food preparation and cooking tasks
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
  • Assist with receiving and storing food supplies
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist with catering events as needed

*Skills:*

  • Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality role is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to effectively work as part of a team
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Please note that this position requires physical stamina as it involves standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects. The successful candidate must also have a valid food handler's permit or be willing to obtain one.
