Remote B2B Sales Representative

Full-time | Remote (U.S.-based)

Cal Interpreting & Translations, Inc. (CIT)

At CIT, we deliver translation, interpreting, and localization solutions in over 200 languages. We're looking for a results-driven B2B Sales Representative to help us expand our partnerships with private-sector companies and government agencies nationwide.

In this role, you'll focus exclusively on B2B sales — building relationships with business, institutional, and government decision-makers, not retail or customer service work.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new B2B opportunities with private companies, agencies, and organizations.
  • Promote and expand utilization of existing government contracts by engaging agencies that have not yet leveraged them fully.
  • Conduct targeted outreach campaigns to executives, procurement officers, and department leads.
  • Represent CIT's full suite of language services with a consultative, solutions-driven approach.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Understand client needs and tailor language solutions to meet their specific objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track sales activities, maintain detailed CRM records, and prepare periodic reports.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience — ideally within professional services, language services, or government contracting.
  • Proven success in selling to both private and government clients, with knowledge of procurement and RFP processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue goals in consultative or solution-based sales environments.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong business-development instincts and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of professionalism, organization, and accountability in a remote environment.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Exceptional command of the English language — written and verbal.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. PT.
  • Comfortable collaborating virtually and managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a genuine interest in cross-cultural communication.
