Front Desk Receptionist – Dermatology Clinic

We are a busy and growing dermatology clinic seeking a warm, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, this role is critical to delivering an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out.

Position: Full-Time

We are looking for candidates that can work both locations:

1: 4400 W 95th Suite 406, Oak Lawn, IL, 60453

2: 1851 Silver Cross Blvd Suite 150, New Lenox, IL, 60451

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries
  • Collect and verify insurance information and patient demographics
  • Process copayments and manage daily financial reconciliation
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth clinic flow
  • Maintain the front desk area and support general office organization

Requirements:

  • Prior front desk or medical receptionist experience is required
  • Experience in a dermatology or medical office strongly preferred
  • Proficient with scheduling systems, multitasking, and patient interaction
  • Prior experience with EMR systems, especially ModMed (Modernizing Medicine), is a major plus
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong team player
