Position Overview

Queen City Studio is seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse, with a specific focus on receiving and shipping tile, cabinets, lighting, flooring, and setting materials. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, organization, and efficiency of our warehouse and logistics operations.

The ideal candidate is forklift certified, in strong physical condition, and proficient with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of building materials
  • Organize and manage inventory with accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare and stage materials for outgoing deliveries and shipments
  • Ensure all materials are correctly documented and entered into inventory systems
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Excel and QuickBooks
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
  • Coordinate with purchasing, project managers, and delivery teams

Qualifications

  • Forklift certification is required
  • Must be in good physical health and able to lift 50+ lbs regularly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is required
  • Previous experience working with tile, cabinets, flooring, or similar materials is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
