This is a part-time position is for:

  • Monday , Tuesday and Wednesday: 5 PM to 10 PM. SAT: 8 AM to 5PM.

We are looking for a competent Front Desk/dental assistant who will make the dentist's office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You'll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist's shoulders. Candidate should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

  • EFDA (preferred but not required)
  • X-Ray Certified (required)

Experience:

- MUST HAVE 2 years experience as a dental assistant or similar role in a dental office

  • MUST HAVE Front Desk experience w insurance verification capabilities
  • Dental assistant license (Preferred)
  • CPR card (Required)
  • OSHA Certification (Preferred)
  • Winter Springs, FL Dental Assistant License (Preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers in the dental office

- Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort

- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed

- Sterilize instruments according to regulations

- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry

- Undertake lab tasks as instructed including preparing patients for examinations

- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions

- Keep the dental room clean and well stocked

- Keep the office organized and well stocked with supplies & send out daily email alerts when there are deals on Amazon, etc. The dentist will love you for it
