About The Role
Crunchyroll's Accounts Payable team is looking for an AP Manager to lead the Accounts Payable team. You will oversee workload planning, provide mentorship and clear direction to the Accounts Payable team, serve as a subject matter expert for partners, and resolve issues. You'll also monitor and communicate KPIs, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and leading process improvement projects through data-driven analysis.

As the Manager, Accounts Payable you will:

  • Provide leadership and support the AP team in meeting their objectives, and collaboration with other teams
  • Act as a point of contact for partners to help resolve issues or as a subject matter expert (SME) where needed
  • Ensure work allocation and planning to meet critical timelines/deadlines
  • Mentor AP team members by communicating objectives and follow up on progress
  • Support process improvement projects using fact-based, data-driven reviews of existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure AP Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are measured, communicated and addressed in daily/weekly/monthly or quarterly reviews
  • Own the 1099 and 1042 reporting process for Crunchyroll A/P

As the Manager, Accounts Payable you will report to the Director, Accounts Payable. This is a hybrid role based in our Dallas, TX office.

About You

  • 5+ years experience in an Accounts Payable/Shared Services Environment
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Experience working with ERP systems and automated AP workflow platform
  • Above average Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Customer service focused approach with a commitment to assisting internal and external stakeholders with responsive solutions-driven approach
  • Able to work cross functionally, fostering a positive work environment
  • Take full ownership of assignments and responsibilities
