Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming and exceptional experience. This position involves handling check-ins and check-outs, answering guest inquiries, and coordinating with various departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude
  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a professional manner
  • Manage room reservations and modifications using the property management system (PMS)
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
  • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and escalate as necessary
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
  • Follow all safety and security procedures as required by the hotel

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or hospitality training is a plus
  • Previous customer service or hotel front desk experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, Maestro, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • May require lifting or carrying items up to 25 lbs occasionally
