Job Summary

THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN HOUSTON, TEXAS

Responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and assisting in the implementation of environmental, health, safety and security related programs, policies, and procedures to maintain operational compliance with applicable regulations and CITGO's Value Statement on EHSS Excellence. The ideal candidate will be able to work together with both the Corporate HSE Department and Terminal and Pipeline (TPL) Management to support the transfer of responsibility of reporting and submittal requirements under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act. This position will also become immersed in the ENABLON system and be developed as a subject matter expert for TPL.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Geology, Environmental, Life or Safety Sciences, or related degree.

Experience: 2 years of job-related experience. Basic Computer skills required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Power BI
  • Understanding of SARA Title III Regulations
  • Basic understanding of Petroleum Industry processes

Job Duties

THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN HOUSTON, TEXAS

  • Prepare and submit Annual Tier II Repots and Annual Toxic Chemical Release Inventory (TRI) Reports in accordance with State and Federal requirements for all Terminal and Pipeline (TPL) Facilities.
  • Support TPL Field personnel in entering events into ENABLON and tracking action plans to completion.
  • Participate in MOCs and PSSRs as well as Field Walk Through Assessments.
  • Maintain updated Chemical Inventories for all TPL Facilities.
  • Provide support for development and tracking of TPL Safety and Environmental KPIs.
  • Manage the TPL Rewards and Recognition Program.
  • Send quarterly requests for chemical inventory updates to all TPL Facilities.
