Studio Lead

Position Summary
The Studio Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operations and performance of their assigned studio location. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth studio functioning, high team morale, effective local marketing efforts, and achieving revenue and membership goals. The Studio Lead also plays a key role in improving internal systems, supporting the sales team, and maintaining an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations & Maintenance
● Ensure daily operations run smoothly, including opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, equipment functionality, and inventory management
● Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and studio policies ● Oversee cleanliness, studio presentation, and class scheduling
● Perform regular studio walkthroughs to ensure all maintenance and operational needs are addressed
Team Management & Engagement
● Manage and support instructors within the studio (Lead, Senior, and Junior instructors) ● Foster a positive, high-energy environment that drives team morale and client satisfaction
● Provide feedback and participate in staff training and development ● Support onboarding and orientation of new team members
● Responsible for planning and internal communication with teaching staff of seasonal in studio events and associated sales deals, using slack and Digital Stack.
Sales & Client Experience
● Drive studio-specific membership growth and client retention
● Collaborate with the Sales Manager and support the sales team by ensuring accurate system inputs and up-to-date client categorization
● Maintain awareness of booking trends, rebooking obstacles, and system inefficiencies and provide insights for improvement
● Monitor studio performance against targets and propose actions to course-correct where needed
● Proactively share updates on sales packages and pricing to maintain team alignment and client-facing consistency.
Marketing & Community Activation
● Execute local marketing activations and grassroots outreach to generate leads
● Build and maintain partnerships with nearby businesses and community organizations ● Represent the studio in local events and collaborations
● Responsible for external communication to members about seasonal instudio events and associated sales deals
System Support & Process Optimization
● Identify operational gaps in AI tools or back-end systems affecting studio or sales performance
● Collaborate with leadership and tech support teams to refine processes and optimize tools
● Support ongoing improvements in SOPs and internal communication tools
● Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
● Previous experience in studio, retail, fitness, or hospitality management preferred ● Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
● Sales-driven mindset with ability to meet and exceed performance targets ● Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability ● Proficient in or willing to learn studio management systems and back-end software tools
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
