Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Audio and Video Technician to join our growing team. You'll assist with setting up, operating, and maintaining AV systems for live events and hotel functions. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in the AV industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of audio, video, and lighting equipment
  • Support live event operations under supervision
  • Help test and troubleshoot gear before and during use
  • Maintain and organize inventory and equipment storage
  • Learn and follow company standards for quality, safety, and customer interaction
  • Load and unload gear safely for transport to event locations
  • Communicate with team leads and clients professionally on-site

Requirements

  • Interest in AV technology and events (no prior experience required)
  • Willingness to learn technical skills and equipment operation
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)
  • Reliable transportation to Oak Brook and nearby venues
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude

Nice to Have (but Not Required)

  • Basic familiarity with speakers, microphones, projectors, or mixers
  • Previous event setup or tech crew experience
