- Develop analytical tools, evaluate operational impacts, and deliver insights that directly influence policy, safety standards, and NextGen modernization initiatives.
- Conduct safety studies by analyzing complex aviation data to identify trends, hazards, and risks.
- Develop and enhance analytical tools and simulation models to evaluate FAA systems and forecast the impact of new technologies, standards, and procedures.
- Perform operational impact analyses for airports, including establishing annual service volume and assessing new procedures.
- Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to FAA leadership and stakeholders.
- Support NextGen modernization initiatives, contributing to the development of advanced systems for the NAS.
- Conduct financial and labor analyses to support staffing requirements, resource allocation, or bargaining unit negotiations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure data-driven decision-making across the FAA.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, big data tools, and statistical methodologies relevant to aviation operations.
