As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will play a key role in creating a secure environment through regular patrols and a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents and emergencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Support the orderly operation of the location by observing and reporting suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance needs.
• Work collaboratively with store staff and visitors to promote a welcoming and secure environment.
• Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Maintain readiness to respond to emergency situations, utilizing training and equipment provided.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
