Job Title: Sr. Education Partner

Department: Outreach

Reports to: Director of Outreach

FLSA: Exempt

Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM CST (extended hours when requested)

Location: Remote

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Waldorf University Outreach, the Regional Outreach Representative is responsible for increasing the visibility of Waldorf University and the programs and opportunities offered within the western and central United States. The individual will present thorough and precise information about Waldorf University in a courteous manner. The Outreach Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships within western and central United States that will result in prospects and students enrolled in the academic programs of the University. This individual will routinely develop and visit partners with Waldorf University to generate new enrollments and relationships. The regional representative will provide exceptional customer service in all aspects of the job duties listed below.

Essential Job Tasks Additional duties may be assigned.

  • Support networking opportunities by traveling to recruit potential students, develop relationships with potential students, current students, and centers of influence with the intent of increasing qualified leads and enrollments.
  • Communicates with prospective students and Learning Partners Coordinators by building strong relationships via face-to-face visits, technology-based contacts, and routine phone conversations to increase the percentage of enrollments for the department and generate referrals.
  • Develop and implement a solid work plan that aligns with the department's Strategic Plan to identify milestones, strengths, and areas of opportunity with the focus area.
  • Must be self-motivated with excellent communication skills, as well as possess the ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
  • Travel extensively (up to 40% of the time) includes some weekends and holidays.
  • Prudent use of WU funds and reconciles credit card expense receipts and reports.
  • Service existing accounts/relationships as well as develop new client relationships.
  • Recruit new partner organizations and students.
  • Create and conduct effective sales presentations, possess superior presentation, and persuasive skills.
  • Participate in conferences and schedule meetings to generate leads for students.
  • Engage with area Community Colleges to promote current academic programs and emerging academic programs that will facilitate degree completion.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ability to be bonded.
  • Military and Corporate experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of corporate recruiting procedures preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.

  • Office equipment includes computers, telephones, printers, faxes, and copiers.
  • Software used includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Blackboard, and internal database software.
  • Telephone headsets; Wireless telephone headsets.
