At Salesforce, Technical Program Managers (TPMs) are pivotal in steering large-scale, cross-functional initiatives. As the Senior Technical Program Manager for Salesforce on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you'll spearhead the strategic evolution of Hyperforce everywhere, including networking and connectivity services, security, and scalability, across all operating zones and all customers. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role where you'll partner with senior leadership to translate vision into reality, driving cross-functional planning and execution. Experience with large-scale infrastructure migrations to Google Cloud Platform, including services like Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Networking, and Cloud Identity, is highly desirable.
You'll be the champion for executing and delivering consistent developer, operator and user experience across all substrates while retaining the highest bar of security, privacy, availability, data residency, compliance and scalability that Hyperforce offers. We're looking for a proven TPM, a passionate infrastructure expert, a proactive problem solver, and a change agent who thrives on tackling complex challenges. Your expertise in enterprise systems, public cloud services, such as networking, compute, and storage will be essential in delivering tangible business value. Your Impact - Responsibilities
- Lead GCP programs to maximize business and customer value through efficient and effective product delivery. .
- Lead and oversee infrastructure migration projects to GCP, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance across services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, and Cloud Identity.
- Strategically align stakeholders on portfolio vision, business goals, and strategy, defining program scope and securing cross-functional commitment.
- Cultivate and leverage executive partnerships to drive strategic program objectives and optimize delivery for measurable success.
- Conduct decisive program reviews to facilitate key decisions, eliminate roadblocks, and resolve issues, ensuring on-time goal attainment.
- Transform business objectives into actionable execution strategies, lead execution through collaborative and agile leadership.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to architect and implement technical solutions, accelerating customer value delivery.
- Establish a dynamic agile environment fostering autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Orchestrate and resolve complex program dependencies across diverse partners, functions, and divisions.
- Proactively identify and mitigate program risks, ensuring timely achievement of business objectives.
- Deliver transparent program status reporting, providing actionable insights on decisions, dependencies, risks, and metrics.
- Foster a culture of innovation and learning, empowering teams to generate creative solutions.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, actively seeking and incorporating constructive feedback.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience in technical leadership. Advanced management degrees preferred.
- 10+ years of recent experience leading large-scale, complex infrastructure programs with proven impactful business outcomes.
- Establish and maintain strong credibility and rapport with senior executives, technical experts, and cross-functional team members.
- Demonstrate exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a history of detailed, hands-on technical work.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical subjects relevant to the program.
- Deeply understand the software development lifecycle and apply agile methodologies effectively in dynamic environments.
- Utilize professional, repeatable methodologies for program initiation, work breakdown, scheduling, reporting, risk, and change management.
- Excel in organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills within a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
- Effectively collaborate across company functions and time zones, showcasing strong time management, analytical, and planning skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Networking, and Cloud Identity, and infrastructure migrations.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Agile Certification.
- Ability to quickly grasp and understand diverse technical subjects and technologies related to program execution.
- Demonstrated passion for solving complex, ambiguous problems and delivering high-quality, innovative, and robust technical solutions.
- Experience developing comprehensive reports and dashboards for program visibility.
- Experience analyzing large datasets to identify long-term trends and drive strategic improvements.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $162,600 to $223,700.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $244,200.
