HC Concrete self-performs cast-in-place structural concrete, foundations, elevated slabs, post-tension decks, sitework concrete, and vertical concrete construction across mid-rise, high-rise, hotel, multifamily, hospitality, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, and municipal projects. Our teams handle formwork, rebar, layout, PT cable installation and stressing, placing, and finishing, allowing us to control quality, schedule, and safety from start to finish. We deliver turn-key or select-scope concrete packages with exceptional quality and service—partnering closely with general contractors and owners to bring projects to life the right way.

We're looking for a Traveling General Superintendent to oversee multiple projects and field operations across regional job sites. This role is ideal for a seasoned concrete professional who thrives in complex environments, takes pride in mentoring field teams, and ensures safe, high-quality, and efficient project execution.

The ability to bring an existing crew is not required but is a strong plus and can be discussed further during the hiring process.

Being based out of the Nashville area is also a plus to assist locally as needed, but not required.

What You'll Do as a Traveling General Superintendent

• Lead and oversee field operations for multiple projects across various states, ensuring alignment with company standards and project goals.
• Manage and mentor Superintendents, Foremen, and craft teams—driving accountability, safety, and performance in the field.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material needs to maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Support preconstruction planning, including schedule input, logistics, and sequencing.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and field documentation accuracy.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Safety, and Equipment teams to resolve challenges and maintain efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to HC Concrete's CORE values: Commitment, Ownership, Relationships, and Excellence.
• Represent HC Concrete professionally with clients, owners, and general contractors, reinforcing our reputation for trust and quality work.

What We're Looking For in a Traveling General Superintendent

• 10+ years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 5 years in a field leadership role (General Superintendent, Area Superintendent, or Senior Superintendent).
• Proven ability to manage multiple self-perform concrete projects simultaneously (vertical cast-in-place, post-tension, foundations, slabs, decks, retaining walls, and sitework).
• Strong understanding of layout, formwork systems, sequencing, PT cable installation, and site logistics.
• Ability to lead and motivate diverse field teams and build strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and work remotely across multiple project locations.
• OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
• English & Spanish speaking a plus
