Position Title: Nursing Supervisor (RN)
Location: Nantucket, MA 02554
Duration: 12 Weeks
Shift: Day
Pay Rate: $65 – $68 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee home health and hospice services on Nantucket Island. This role involves managing daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare partners and the community.
Responsibilities- Supervise day-to-day clinical operations to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain communication with physicians and healthcare partners to improve service delivery and patient care outcomes.
- Serve as liaison between physician offices, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities.
- Coordinate and implement services for patients transitioning from inpatient to home care.
- Promote and uphold evidence-based practice standards.
- Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes in collaboration with Human Resources.
- Support staff through orientation, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Lead team meetings and interdisciplinary care conferences.
- Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing staff and community partners.
- Manage clinical on-call schedules, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and accreditation standards (DPH, CMS, JCAHO).
- Provide direct patient care when required.
- Collaborate with HR on performance management and corrective actions when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational excellence.
- Education: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Massachusetts (required).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recent clinical experience, including at least 2 years in community health or home health settings (required).
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and customer relations experience preferred.
