Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly in Java and related technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The Senior Java Developer will also be responsible for mentoring junior developers and contributing to the overall architecture of our systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services using AWS or Azure.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth within the team.
  • Work with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN for source code management.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of software development principles.
  • Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Python, C#, C++, or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
  • Experience with front-end development technologies including JavaScript, React, or Express is desirable.
  • Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or SQL Server; knowledge of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment and understanding IT infrastructure concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices in application development.
