A Day In The Life

The RSM, National Sales under the leadership of the National Sales Director will foster relationships with new Dealerships. Responsibilities include the expansion, supervision, compliance, sales coordination, and the development of new Dealership relationships. The RSM will be responsible for Dealership development, sales of and training for the GSFS Group programs, products and services. The primary focus will be new relationship expansion, formal and informal training support and the, development and maintenance of new Dealership relationships. Associate will grow and strengthen client relationships through the continuous improvement of Dealer services.

As a Regional Sales Manager you will:

  • Responsible for daily interaction with Prospective Dealer Principals, effectively utilizing home office support teams and the coordination of appropriate sales development in the field.
  • Responsible for managing Dealership sales results, which yield measurable revenue growth to GSFS.
  • Expand sales of our products to new Dealership Accounts in Sentruity approved states.
  • Develop, recommend and implement effective sales strategies that support futures sales growth to senior management.
  • Manage the attainment of established monthly product sales objectives.
  • Develop weekly operating plans for the most effective and efficient utilization of manpower resources and prioritization of servicing issues.
  • Lead sales organization through defined and measurable performance objectives.
  • Provide field support and direct the interdepartmental resources needed to support sales activities.
  • Represent the needs and issues of the Dealerships in all interdepartmental and management meetings.
  • Direct the prospecting, sales process, product installations and dealer development of all dealer accounts.
  • Develop and implement methods and processes to validate accomplishments of the development of Dealer relationships.
  • Where appropriate, coordinate senior management input into sales, income development and relationship building activities.
  • Develop high level of Dealer respect for GSFS income development abilities based on high standards for quality and integrity of F&I department activities and effective sales department interactions.
  • Support the GSFS Training team, dealership income development as well as regular "hands-on" training and sales support.
  • Provide training and interact with dealership sales department personnel to achieve income development goals.
  • Establish income targets for each Dealership and assure achievement of targets through in field support.
  • Develop a high level of understanding at the Dealer level of the participation programs offered by GSFS Group.
  • Provide risk management and participation reports to the Dealer.
  • Associate should review these reports with the Dealer on a consistent basis.
  • Support training and regulatory compliance at all levels.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University Req
  • 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required
  • Ability to apply common sense.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Required
  • Group II Insurance License Preferred
  • Business Metrics Develops or uses quantifiable measures to track business objectives and processes, both short-term and long-term, often involving cost management. Developing-Advanced Required

Physical Requirements

The job requires significant domestic travel. As a result, the duties for this position occur in various places including, but not limited to an office environment, car dealerships, and semi-industrial settings. The associate will regularly be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions. The noise level for this position will vary and the associate may be exposed to loud noise levels.
