Landscape Enhancement Manager

Position Overview
We're seeking a passionate, hands-on Landscape Enhancements Manager to lead high-end installation projects and drive operational excellence across our enhancements division. This role is ideal for a seasoned landscape professional with strong construction and horticulture experience, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to quality. You'll manage multiple crews, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure every enhancement project reflects the G&G standard of craftsmanship and care.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Production
- Manage all aspects of landscape enhancement services, including scheduling, crew leadership, and quality control
- Open and close the workday with crews, delegate tasks, and provide hands-on support when needed
- Operate and oversee use of machinery, hand tools, and safety protocols
- Monitor job hours, timesheets, billing reports, and project closeout documentation
Construction, Installation & Design Execution
- Read and interpret plans, layout hardscape and landscape elements
- Coordinate materials and equipment to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
- Modify plans in the field to accommodate site conditions and communicate any changes to clients/Account Manager
- Ensure proper installation of plants, sod, and softscape elements with a focus on quality and longevity
Client & Team Relations
- Build strong relationships with property owners, vendors, and internal departments
- Support enhancement sales efforts and client meetings alongside Account Managers as needed
- Foster a positive team culture through mentorship, training, and performance reviews
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and developing crew members with a focus on growth and retention
Administration & Equipment
- Maintain organized trucks, equipment, and paperwork
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of landscape construction experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, drainage, horticulture, and safety best practices
- Proficiency in Aspire or similar project management software (preferred)
- NC driver's license
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple crews and tasks simultaneously
